Psychiatric History Museum

Brønderslev Museum for Psychiatric History draws you in on a journey through time from ancient history to the Middle Ages throughout the Age of Enlightenment and further on to the horrible period of the many mental illnesses declared by the state, and finally to modern times.

The last part of the exhibition relates to the North Jutland state hospitals in Brønderslev and Aalborg.
