Dine with penguins after a round of “Business & Bricks”

May 2012

The poles meet this year in the new 12,500 square metre Polar Land area at the original LEGOLAND® park in Billund displaying 15 Gentoo penguins, a polar-themed restaurant, an impressive roller coaster and more. The new eatery overlooking the penguin area seats 350 dining guests and is the largest investment ever in the park’s history.

What is more, dining with the penguins at the Polar Land restaurant is easily combined with anyone looking for inspiring and creative meetings, conferences or team building events at the adjacent LEGOLAND® Hotel & Conference where they have vast experience in organising business events and where the Danish LEGO® brick is literally part of their DNA!

At LEGOLAND® Hotel & Conference, LEGO® bricks are used by children of all ages to play and kick-start the right part of their brains. The bricks are meant as a tool for developing communication, core values or corporate cultures in a business context. As a matter of fact, the LEGO® Bricks concept of team building and innovation exercises conducted at the hotel form the basis for a new variety of the Danish Meetovation concept - they call it “Business & Bricks”.

Mads Keblovszki, Sales & Marketing Manager at LEGOLAND Hotel & Conference, explains:

“Business & Bricks consists of a number of tools, ideas and concepts, each of which allows you to create new and productive meeting formats, which again ensures a high return on meeting investment. It is very much a “concentrate” of the highly innovative Danish Meetovation concept, and opens up for a wide range of possibilities such as organising team-building sessions and/or competitions at the hotel. Incorporating Business & Bricks with a visit to the original LEGOLAND® attraction by hosting a dinner at the brand new Polar Land restaurant or the popular Medieval Castle and enjoying pre-dinner drinks in the company of sharks in Atlantis seems like the only right thing to do, of course!”

“So far, the feedback from our clients on “Business & Bricks”in combination with dining at LEGOLAND® is extremely encouraging, and we look forward to developing the concept even further,”
Keblovski continues.
